A Preference for Potato Chips
The Lazy Cell, or Rosimus Lazirious, is a rogue body cell which is a bit of an off-shoot of cancer. It is found most commonly in Potato Monkeys due to complications resulting from keeping one potato for much too long in the potato pouch. This cell attacks other cells around it with great malice and hatred, stealing much needed energy and nutrients that the healthy cells would otherwise be receiving. This in turn leaves the normally overactive potato monkey without energy and overall, quite the couch potato.
As a result it often puts off normal tasks until well beyond the point at which they aught to have been finished.

Everyone loves a POTATO MONKEY
The potato monkey inhabits any area that grows a significant amount of potatoes, irregardless of climate (they are extremely adaptive to both warmth and cold). For example, there were many potato monkeys in Ireland shortly before the potato famine. Some experts attribute the potato famine itself to the monkeys, who squandered the potatoes grown by hardworking Irishmen in inter-tribe brawls, after which the potatoes were useless as food.
The monkey's standout characteristic is its strong front legs, which are ambidextrous and skilled at throwing potatoes. However, the monkey has many other features that differentiate it from the mundane monkey. Its back legs, though short and somewhat useless for long-distance travel, are adept at digging potatoes out of the ground surreptitiously. It has developed an excess of fur on the top of its head, to protect against being domed, and tufts of hair in various places on its body (armpits, chin, and elbow) for the purpose of attracting the female potato monkey.
Perhaps its most curious characteristic is its belly button. While most creatures have relatively shallow belly buttons, which can either extend inwards or outwards, the potato monkeys is unique in that every single member of the species' belly buttons is exceptionally large and extends inwards without fail, acting much as the pouch on a marsupial would. The potato monkeys uses its belly button for potato storage (much like a bandolier for a human warrior).
While adult potato monkeys' teeth have the strength to eat raw potatoes, the potato monkey pup only eats potatoes mashed. To this purpose, after roughly a day, the heat of the potato monkey's torso can cook a potato, which it will then mash on the flat rocks around which it makes its home. The potato monkey is roughly the size of a small orangutan.
